DESCRIPTION:Please come to support this very important issue at our March General Membership Meeting!!!\n\n\n\nHBI: Building Careers. Changing Lives.\n\n\n\nBuilding Our Workforce\n\n\n\nHBI does one thing.  It trains skilled workers for the building industry.\n\n \n\nPresenter: Ed Brady\, President and CEO Home Builders Institute (HBI). HBI is the nation's leading educational resource for career technical education in the building industry. PACT is the pre-apprenticeship curriculum ideally suited for school-based instruction.  PACT guarantees students will learn residential construction-focused skills\, receive hands-on training\, and master the knowledge needed for employment in an entry-level job in the building industry.  \n\n \n\nSuperintendents\, principals and guidance counselors from Lorain\, Erie and Huron county schools are invited to attend as our guests at this meeting. Our goal is to help them learn how to approach students in middle and high school\, and those who influence their decisions\, to change their perception of careers in the trades.
